...because I like my celebrities a little on the trashy side

Tabloids are my guilty pleasure. There. I admit it.

If you are not sure what to think about Gwyneth Paltrow, try this one on.

Well, frankly, I do not really know what to think of Gwynneth Paltrow. All of my life I have enjoyed reading about celebrities. I remember my mom buying movie magazines and I loved reading about Elvis, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton to name a few. I am wondering why they fascinate me so. We used to believe everything we read, now we are more cynical and believe little of what we read. Still, we crave news of these people who really aren't any better than anyone else. Alot richer, yes, but no better. Maybe we enjoy reading about them as an escape from troubles in our own lives. Any other opinions? yomama

Quite honestly, being into well-made clothes, I like to see what they wear. Since I could never bring myself to buy a handbag to 2K (even if I did have the dough), or will never wear a 10k couture gown, I can only see them on celebrities. It used to be a study guide for me when I was making clothes. Also, those rags that I sometimes read are very light compared to what I have to study in school.

Wow. What a fantastic editorial! I love the part about how she must pronounce "hubris." Excellent.

Damn! I guess I missed it. I can't seem to find this article anywhere -- unless you're talking about Britney Spears suing the highchair company and her mother commenting on her daughter's less-than-stellar parenting abilities.

Hey, ADoD.
I tried to find the article through msn without success. Basically, it pokes fun at tabloids reporting that celebrities are "just like us" and uses Gwyneth Paltrow as a target subject. If anyone can find it for ADoD, I know she'd enjoy the heck out of it.
