Yes, "Memories" is that song from "Cats"

I got this off a friend's blog, who probably got this off a friend's blog...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog (if you have one) and be surprised (or moritified) about what people remember about you.

The time we hung out with ADoD and Janet springs to mind. Most notably, I remember enjoying you and Lee Anne joyfully singing "The Medical Love Song" and marveling that you knew every single word. It was truly an inspired performance.

Lee Anne said...

Remember our dramatic interpretation of the last scene of "Of Mice and Men."

"Tell me about the rabbits, George."

Oh, and "Bah, Bah Black Sheep."

That one brought down the house.

Thanks, Samantha. I've had the "medical love song" in my head all day long now. Damnit.

Adod, I'm glad your memories of me involve me being a total ass. YES!!!

As I was telling adod, my memories and dreams are about all of you as babies and living on the farm. You were a good baby with the sweetest smile, you would light up a room just by walking in it. I remember losing you and Lee Anne one time while I was fixing supper. I was so scared and I went outside and there was a little brown head and white head bobbing in the cotton field with puppies and kittens following close behind. Wonderful memories.

Lots of things come to mind.

The very first time I laid eyes on you-it was if the heavens opened and radiance was all around. Sublime.

The first time you did the old man face. I laughed my ass off then and now.

The time "J-man" said you looked like a gargoyle, and you gave him the "what the F" face like a pro.

The night before you moved away from here, and we sat outside some craphole karaoke place talking whilst you drank a gin and tonic or something. I was so damned sad.

Take care of yourself. Have fun.
